“Would you, could you, in the rain? I would not, could not, in the rain,” said Dr. Seuss. As a result of March rains, Seussabration! has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 10 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Bell Tower Shops.

Fans, both young and old, are invited to attend the free event in honor of the late Theodor Seuss Geisel’s 106th birthday.

Festivities, games and crafts include sock puppet making, cupcake decorating, a Cat in the Hat magical act every 15 minutes, meet the Grinch and Cat in the Hat characters, ice cream, entertainment and sing-a-longs. Local celebrities including Cliff Smith, United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades will read Dr. Seuss books throughout the afternoon.

The dog-friendly Bell Tower Shops is an open-air lifestyle center, located in Fort Myers at U.S. 41 and Daniels Parkway, with 40 retailers, including Saks Fifth Avenue and The Fresh Market, nine restaurants and Bell Tower 20 Regal Cinemas.
