2nd Annual Rocktoberfest Music Series Showcases Local Talent
Rotary Club of Ft. Myers South to benefit from bar proceeds
FORT MYERS, FL (Oct. 3, 2012) – Bell Tower Shops presents Rocktoberfest, a free, live music series on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays in October from 6 to 8 p.m.
Set in Bell Tower Shops’ beautiful Center Court, all ages will enjoy this energetic concert series with ample seating on benches and around the fountain. The bar is hosted by Rotary Club of Fort Myers South with all proceeds benefitting their scholarship fund. Each concert will also feature gift card giveaways.

Thursday, Oct. 11—Memphis 56—Favorites of the downtown Fort Myers Patio de Leon scene and regulars at Art Walk and MusicWalk, this trio plays rockabilly and roots rock including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. You won’t want to miss their “flaming” upright bass!
Thursday, Oct. 18—Devon Meyers & The Noise—An emerging group of great musicians based in Naples, Devon Meyers & The Noise play originals and songs you know and love from Sublime, John Mayer, The White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, Fun, Eric Clapton and more!
Thursday, Oct. 25—The Wholetones—One of the most diverse and talented bands based in Southwest Florida, The Wholetones describe their music as “folkmetalbluegrass”. Combining impressive technical skill with the spontaneity of jazz and drive of bluegrass, they put on a captivating live show with a varied mix of instruments including cello, banjo, upright bass and even washboard. From covers of Modest Mouse, The Decemberists and Old Crow Medicine Show to their amazing original compositions, The Wholetones put on a performance not to be missed!
