Winter comes with a lot of gray—overcast days, plenty of clouds, and even the “occasional” snowstorm. But gray doesn’t have to be dull and boring. In fact, it’s a very universal color that works well with many styles, themes and tones. And with spring almost here, we’ve got some pointers to help brighten up your home in a great, gray way.
First off, you’ll want to find the perfect shade of gray to flatter your existing home décor. The Pantone color guide is great way to find the right shade for any color. Remember that gray can come in many different forms with some shades being warmer or cooler than others.
Some shades can even take on the color of its surroundings. For example, some grays can start to take on a lavender hue in the right setting, while other grays can take on a warm buttery tone.
