Every season we see a trend that’s highly wearable, and this year’s most wearable trend is western-inspired, with elements that take your look from whoa to wow. To be on-trend this fall, all you have to do is incorporate some of the fun accents below.
1. Boots: Be it bootie, cowboy or equestrian-inspired, no look is complete this fall without boots. Sure they look great with jeans, but this year, boots are making an appearance with business as well as dressy attire. You can wear them with everything – no boots about it!
2. Fringe: From vests and boots to purses and tees, incorporating something with fringe will elevate your outfit. If the fringe is of the suede variety, even better! And to complete your ensemble, wear with a pair of distressed denim and your favorite fall booties.
3. Wide-brimmed hat: No longer for only the most fashionable cowgirls, wide-brimmed hats can be seen making an appearance at county fairs and cityscapes alike. Pair it with a t-shirt and jeans for a simple look, or dress it up with a long, flowy dress for a night out on the town.

4. Ponchos: A new spin on the classic western staple, ponchos with bold prints and neon colors help modernize the look while providing a little extra warmth for the brisk fall air. Pair with fitted, skinny jeans so you can maintain your feminine silhouette.
Keep it simple and true to your style, and most importantly, don’t overdo it. You don’t want to look like you’re wearing a costume. Stick to one or two western wear items per outfit, and you’ll be ready to head for the hills (Beverly Hills, that is).
