Splashing in the Rain

It's raining it's pouring and these boots are anything but boring...

By Jammie Chasteen

It's raining. It's pouring. And these boots are anything but boring. The onset of fall inevitably brings with it: RAIN, no? But fret not, because the days of ruining your heels are over, and the just plain ugly galoshes are no longer your only choice. Designers have brought the amazing trends of fall colors and patterns to rain boots, and frankly, I believe they’ll brighten those gloomy days!

From bright yellow to polka dot and Barbie pink, the color options are almost endless and able to meet all of your rainy day fashion needs. But they don’t stop at just color. Style options range from wedge and lace-up, to studded biker-esque and even heeled rain boots. Yes, rain boots with heels! And they’re actually cute too, not even cheesy. There are bootie and over the knee styles, so depending on your OOTD...There’s a rain boot for that!

So go ahead… splash around in style this fall, and have fun choosing the right pair(s) for you! I suggest a plain black pair to start. I know, no fun right? But they will go with everything you own and will surely be your go to galosh. But with price point options so budget friendly, a second (or third) pair is so easily justified. What’s your fav style this season?
